A Tree I Planted As a Child in Sudan

At my grandmother’s house there used to be a garden, which has since been renovated to accommodate my aunt’s medical clinic. In that garden, I planted a seed when I was 2 years old (during my first visit to Sudan). The tree in this picture is that seed I planted as a child. They kept the tree and even built the roof of the clinic around it. That kind of blew my mind.
