Assaha Hotel and Restaurant

My uncle was joking with my brother about “authentic” experiences we should have and he mentioned smoking shisha (or hookah). My brother immediately insisted that we go somewhere so that he could say that he smoked a traditional shisha in Sudan. That same evening, we went to a Lebanese Hotel and Restaurant called Assaha. The architectural theme was old world and traditional with the structure looking like an old Middle Eastern fort. While there my cousin ordered a mango nectar drink (upper right), we had fresh baked bread (lower left), and ate grilled kofta (ground beef kabobs) with spicy flat bread triangles. Last, but not least we also smoked mint flavored shihas!
