Beef with Ethiopian Salsa

I’m not exactly sure how this beef was cooked. It could have been stewed or fried or seared and baked. All I know is that it tasted really good and that it might have had a touch of allspice in it. The bowl in the middle was a sweet Ethiopian salsa.
