As an homage to our U.S. heritage, my cousins treated us to pizza. It’s truly sad when Sudanese pizza is better than a lot of American pizza chains. The pizza in the bottom left was an “everything” pizza that had lots of vegetables and some meat toppings. The pizza in the middle was a “salami” pizza with a stuffed cheese crust. The salami was made from beef though because as an Islamic country, pork isn’t sold. This was probably my favorite of the three. The pizza on the right was a “Mexican” pizza, so it had ground beef, and an impressive blend of hot Mexican spices.
