In this picture I compiled some of the best examples of giant food items I found in Sudan. My cousins, after visiting us in the U.S., claimed that we have huge portions of everything. In response, I showed them that they were over-reacting when considering the excesses that they have. Pictured at the top is a “small” and a “large” cappuccino that I couldn’t even finish. Below that are the largest doughnuts I have ever seen in person. They were larger in diameter than a person’s hand spread out. At the bottom is my cousin standing next to a 4.5 Kilogram (9.9 pound) Toblerone in a regular grocery store! Come on now. I don’t even want to hear it from them anymore.
