Another classic Middle Eastern staple (stolen from the Greeks, but still). I absolutely love grape leaves done the right way. The right way means that they are not served cold, they have rice AND meat in them, they’re firm not squishy, and they don’t come from a slimy can. It seems that every family has their own method for making them. Pictured above are two different preparations by two of my aunts. They each had unique flavors while still sticking to the rules for good grape leaves.
