Men Washing Before Prayer – Khartoum, Sudan

My family isn’t muslim, so I found it really interesting to watch as these native Sudanese men washed their hands and feet before prayer during the day. I could hear the call to prayer from one of the many towers in the country. In order not to offend anyone, I snapped this discreet photo over my shoulder while pretending to use my phone to send a text message.
