Shopping Area for Artifacts

When I told my cousins that my brother and I wanted to buy some touristy items to bring back to the U.S. they took us to this hidden location where we could buy African items. We found authentic African bracelets, carvings of ebony, and carvings of ivory as well as animal skin purses or wallets. I asked if I could take a picture inside the store, but the woman running one of the shops looked immediately uncomfortable and politely refused. She knew that many people objected to the ivory on display. I, myself, was shocked by how much ivory one little store contained.
