The next day after having a great takeout breakfast sandwich from a restaurant that I never got the name of, we went to the Buffalo Trace distillery. The tour, while informative, was a little slow and the video they showed us was overly dramatic. Nonetheless, the rustic quality of the place felt like walking through history. At the end, we got to sample two kinds of their whiskeys (I tried the Eagle Rare and the White Dog Mash) as well as enjoy some chocolate covered bourbon balls.
