I usually don’t enjoy cooked oysters as much as raw, but Husk made these perfectly. They had the slightest smoky flavor and were just barely cooked., so they didn’t taste fishy or rubbery. Excellent.
The last, but not least items I got in my sample box from @goodranchers were two bone-in ribeye steaks! I grilled these tender steaks up simply with just some salt and pepper. Then I topped them with a pat of butter and some sautéed mushrooms to up the umami! Read my blog post tomorrow to get the full review of my experience with Good Ranchers!
Tried some of @goodranchers sirloin steak, filet, and steak tips. The individually portioned steaks cooked up quick and remained very tender! They had the classic zesty taste of grass fed, but with the added sweetness of grain finished beef. I paired the steak with a beet and feta salad along with a side of rice.
Made a hearty smash burger using my sample of @goodranchers’ chopped steak patty. The result was a deceptively filling burger with a really clean taste that only comes from freshly ground quality beef! Replicated the whopping style of a certain self proclaimed King of Burgers for this one. 😜
