“Friendship” at the Maritime National Park – 160 Derby Street, Salem, MA 01970 – This is a re-creation of the 18th century ship named, “Friendship,” that is supposedly one of the largest coast guard ships commissioned at the time. I’m not crazy about boats or anything, but I did really appreciate the fact that this ship adds to the rich (albeit morbid) history of Salem in a way that doesn’t have to do with witches.
