The Bunghole – 204 Derby Street Salem, MA 01970 – This is a liquor store with a name worthy of Beavis from Beavis and Butthead. Also worthy of a picture apparently. We got a good chuckle out of seeing this in bright lights.
Still trying to use up some Thanksgiving leftovers. In this case I made some turkey hash using leftover fried turkey and some potatoes. Takes me back to mornings in Boston getting turkey hash from @charliessandwichshoppe.
Buffalo chicken is one of those foods that’s amazing when it’s good and so so sad when it’s not. After experiencing some chicken sadness recently, I took matters into my own hands. Made this Buffalo chicken rice bowl with celery, diced red onion, spiced cauliflower, cilantro, and a blue (bleu?) cheese drizzle.
There were originally five of these “drop biscuits” with spicy honey from @hunkydoryri, but we ate two before I could even snap a pic. They’re like a cross between a hush puppy and a clam cake in terms of texture. I’d eat an embarrassing amount of these. So good!
